Many thanks to all those who did share their collection with us (tapers and uploaders)! The site contains no links to copyrighted music. If this is incorrect please leave a message in the guestbook and the links will immediately be removed from this site. There is - of course - also Dylan-related news. The site has been developed (and will be maintained by) a long time Dylan-fan.

Some visitors report browser problems in the recording sections when using Windows i.c.w. older versions of Firefox. The remedy should be: Please download and install a recent STABLE version of Firefox. The problem probably will be resolved. In some cases a Javascript update is needed. Please report all failures in the guestbook. The site runs best in Windows using IE and on a Mac with Safari of FF.

Osaka 13-3-2010 Setlist

This world is a global village, with less Romance of course as my old friend Brian did state. Never again not knowing which setlist was played, never searching anymore for Bobboots at markets and find surprising stuff. But quick delivery: So here is the new setlist. A very intresting setlist to DylanNL's humble opinion. With the songs Lovesick, I don't believe you, Hollis Brown, Shelter from the Storm and not Dark Yet played.

Friends the Fun has started again with HisBobness on Tour in Japan. The Venue is the Zepp in Osaka Japan.The River is flowing again. And it was symbolic that the first song of this tour was: 'Watching the river flow'. Highlights for DylanNL in the setlist are Spirit on the Water, Can't Wait and I Don't Believe You. Only one song from Together Through Live was played (Jolene in the encore). Happily the taper Hide was there. Bob and the band were in good shape. Bobs Voice was alright and the band played inspired and tight.

DylanForeverMan made a while back an other compilation in the irresistable maestro series. This serie is very popular amongst DylanNL-visitors.The new volume is a special compilation from the 2005 concerts. Almost every rare played track from this year is included. As Dylanlover Mr Dylanforeverman has an excelent taste and he makes nice artwork.. So this compilation is again recomended by DylanNL. Thanks friend for another jewel.
In Red Bank New Yersey there is a good tradition around Bob Dylans birthday: the annual Bobfest. Pat Guadagno and theTired Horses plays Dylancovers. This event began about ten year ago in a cafe. Now its held in the Two River Theater. The band called the Tired Horses consists each year of different artists. But they play very enthustiastic the Dylancovers. And of course for us Boblovers Nobody sings Dylan like Dylan but some of my friends and the wife of DylanNL do agree that dylansongs are better performed by other artists.The songs gain quality in their eyes. And when you are hearing the double cd of the Bobfest 2009 I agree that this was a great concert and DylanNL thinks Pat can almost sing Dylan like ...........

Here is the setlist of the second Osaka 2010 concert.3 songs form the last album were played: Beyond Here Lies Nothing, I Feel A Change Comin' On (two of DylanNL's favorites together with Hometown) and Jolene in the encore. Amongst the other songs played: Make You feel my Love, PO' Boy and Just Like a Woman. The last 5 songs are the same as the last concert and seems to be the iron ending of each concert now.
The last time that Dylan and his band played in Osaka was at 7 march 2001. So the good japanese people from this city did wait more then 10 years to see HisBobness coming again. With the japanese tour starting on 11 march 2010 DylanNL turns your attention to the last Osaka concert. But first lets hope for a nice tour for all our japanese friends and DylanNl hopes that some tapers will be visiting the concerts to let us enjoy the music played

Meet Mr. Dylan Volume 3 Rollin' on the Highway. Bob Dylan and other artists play songs and outtakes from the album Highway 61 Revisited for your joy. Like A Rolling Stone is considered as Bobs best song forever, it is indeed his most famous song. But this album contains more valuable songs. Think about Ballad of a Thin Man and Desolation Row. The song From A Buick Six -only played live twice- is a real gem as well , in this compilation we have Chuck Prophets version.

This is a collection made out of love for the music of Bob Dylan. During his career Bob Dylan did have fruitful interacions with lots of other musicians. The duets volumes gives examples of this interaction through the years, starting in 1958, until the year 2007. The soundquality does vary and specialy the early recordings are sometimes not very well to the standards of today! But they are still nice to hear. This 10 cd compliation does covers the most of the non-commercialy available duets. If you didn't grab this in the early days of DylanNL then you could have alot of fun by downloading them now! Enjoy.
