Incredible. I arrived after 4 hours in the car and two songs in Mark Knopfler's setlist. Bob arrived about 9:15 and was mesmorising. This was the fifth time I had seen him and easily surpassing any of the others. I could have left after the second song, This Wheel's On Fire happy,
but Bob kept pulling them out. A fantastic Tangled Up In Blue, a warm and melodic Desolation Row and perhaps the highlight of the night was the new style Blind Willie McTell (see Users Favourite Performances). On Beyond Here Lies Nothin', Mark Knopfler came on to join Bob and add some lead guitar which I thought worked well. We were then given the usual ending four songs that were all played well, particularly Ballad Of A Thin Man. Two minor disappointments, quite a lack of atmosphere in Bournemouth at times and the lack of an encore, but as I said, MINOR!
