If you are interested in what a think about the gospel shows in common please read my review to the show on 2. November 1979.
This is the 4th Gospel show, and although i am not religious in any kind i have to accept one more time that these shows at the Fox Warfield in November 1979 surely belong to the best Dylan ever did.
There are only the songs of "Slow Train" and "Saved": Some of them on the are ridiculous, some are annoying because of their political message, some are of irritating openess and honesty - but the shows they are performed im November 1979 are outrageous from the first to the last song.
This record has only Dylan's part and so lacks the opening and intermissing songs by the background-singers. But as a benefit you can hear this passion-play of hellfire, perdition and salvation in very good sound quality.
Highlight: Pressing On, I Believe In You, Saved, Covenant Woman - but never a weak moment the whole concert over
